this short gallery displays a sophisticated DVD video system that displays to the passengers all the cameras and what they are showing at various intervals as the bus is moving it also shows the road in front of the bus and switches to display DVD ACTIVA when not displaying a live feed there are two LCD flat panel monitors on each deck of the bus mounted on the hand rails above the stairs and on the back of the staircase in the lower saloon they are approx 17" and image changes about every 30 seconds on colour screens this example is fitted to fleet number 747 a Network livery Scania omnidecker
This is a volvo b7 east lancs in skegness bus station we were going to be travelling to lincoln on this bus but in true road car fashion it broke down when it arrived so that had to do the run with a coastal connections liveried brand new volvo decker instead reg began fd54 ???
The Volo Olympians were all working the lincoln christmas market in 2006 there were also a number of marshall bodied vehicles all ex NCT I think
there was quite an abundance of Volvo Citybuses too with that distinctive engine roar absolutley magic !
