| the leyland lions went to dunn line and are often seen in long eaton on the school runs in the morning and late afternoon for the Trent college and wilsthorpe runs and 389 went to Grayscroft mabllethorpe i think the lions went to a company in matlock called marshalls i believe not entirely sure but will find out they are bright yellow but have retained the alloy looking grilles the dunn linr examples look very smart |

The workings of the route are mainly optare metrorider pictured ex NCT R???LAL and a ex trent Leyland national Mk1 and there was appearance of a Leyland Lynx ex nct too |

| this bus now operate from the gotham garage so it dosent get used much its only a spare for link1 and 2 and the 48 thats what iv seen it on most resently
its a shame because i like this bus wish it came back to lower parliment street garage so we could get to see it and use it more. |

| ive heard it might be coming back to psg when all the building work has finished and some of the gotham buses are going to tbg and then rest to psg so thats why it might come back |

| oh and i forgot to mension that the date for that happening was sunday 2nd september 2007 and the first buses to go out on service is the skylink around 4am. i know that its 24hr but they take some off and introduce the rest at around 4am.all this is because gotham is to be closed aswell. so we will be seeing many different changes to go ahead.the bendys are to go to psg as well i think but the pnr's to tbg i think |

| hi does anyone know why nct has ordered some optare versa's in all silver i saw 1 today on the 100 to southwell and 1 the other day out of service on parliament street i thought it was heading towards parliament street depot as it was traveling in that direction and the driver was from parliament street depot but it couldn't be as 100's are from trent bridge garage |

| why was it when nct got the scania bendy buses they made such a big deal about by saying (bendy buses are the future for nct and the all double dekkers will be replaced by bendy buses) but as we have seen this wasnt true. why was this that they never bought more off these buses? even if they still bought double dekkers and some bendy buses to. i think they are a great buses its a shame they are on the unilink i think they should be in spare nottingham network green so we can all enjoy them. |

| Nct did not buy anymore artics as on the whole they were not as required as had been anticipated and passengers did not to ride in the rear of the bus on the own it felt a little far from people when the bus was barely full and also staff are paid more and trained more to drive artics are some of the reasons I know of but the main reason for this was down to passenger feedback being negative
but in a way I like them |

| ive heard that the council and nct are think and trying out on test the bendys and new link1's to swap them and nct order more bendys so that the link 1's have got bendys as they think that they would get around better as the way that they drive is if it turns a corner the back half will follow it round whereas if they did take the omnilinks round if you turned the same corner it would just mount the the the pavement a lot.then then the omnilinks can go to ntu so its a straight swap. now as the last thing in this comment is that the link2's are next to be upgraded to omnilink's too. |

| hi i have seen an omnilink on rainbow1's but as far as i know nct are changing the citylink1 route so that their terminous is at boots D82 not the bus bays any more so i dont know but i am guessing that they can fit up to there. but bearing in mind that the omnilinks are owned by the council not nct.

when i was driving for NCT the Excels on 36's all became driver training, they were fab buses to drive but later found to have break problems which NCT took off the road and repaired quick, and fire problems were secretly repaired. |

| not sure about the green line there was talks about this for a while that the spare 06 omni dekkas would be painted into rudidngton green line buses but so far the only evidence of this has been the introduction of the spare omnidekkas on the route with green line tridents we shall have to see but what I can say is it will all kick off in march on the 25th when we should see changes in place across the network thanks for your comment Joseph Editor |

| This trolley has no connection with Nottingham at all apart from the fact it was displayed in the Market Square at the launch of the Nottingham Trolleybus book. This vehicle was built by Roe and spent its whole life in the Rotherham fleet |

| this trolley bus is not an ex city of nottingham motor it is an ex durham corperation trolley bus was only used to promote the nottingham troley bus book that is all as the owners did not relaes the vehocle in time for the promotion and it also cam down behind the tow truck from Nottingham City Transport |

| the 23,23A and 24's new buses are not having problems around the road its just that the cab was made wrong a the buttons were too far from the driver and the wheel was too down and close to the driver even when it was adjusted thats why they've got that little panel aboue the wheel thats been fitted and the omnilinks are on service on saturdays but when i go back to work i will find out more and then i will pass more as i find out |

| i remember these very well. they where the beast of the roads of nottingham no bus back in the 80's and 90's could ever compete against these coaches come buses, i was rencently in london and seen f382gvo near the exit to london victoria coach station i believe doing a national express run as the bus was packed out operating for andrews it was. glad to see them in use but i dont like the liverly they are in did nct keep in one of these in a garage |

| Hello thanks for your comment as I know from the latest information the 48 branded scanikas are going onto the number 1 to loughbourgh via clifton this can only happen whan the 6 or more new 09 scania omnidekkas arrive for the 48 at the moment they are in the process of being made at the optare factory in blackburn lancs . What I can tell you is that the 6 omni links on the clifton queens driver park and ride are to be replaced with omni dekkas or omni city double deckers later in the year , keep watching this site for updates and be sure to check out the NcT buses group on yahoo groups
